Abstract:
An apparatus and a method operable to revert to a user equipment (UE) capability identity (ID) capable of providing a good communication performance and high reliability are provided. A method operable to revert to a UE capability ID of a UE includes receiving an indication from a network node, wherein the indication includes indicating whether a type of a UE capability ID to be used, and performing the indication, wherein performing the indication includes when the UE has both a public land mobile network (PLMN) specific UE capability ID and a manufacturer specific UE capability ID, the UE uses the PLMN specific UE capability ID.
