Abstract:
The present invention relates to: an apparatus for partially nitrifying ammonia in sewage/wastewater by using a selective inhibitor to nitrite-oxidizing bacteria (NOB); and a method for partially nitrifying ammonia using same. According to the present invention, NOB is effectively inhibited in a bioreactor in which partial nitrification occurs, and thus the partial nitrification of ammonia may be stably performed, thereby enabling a denitrification process to be effectively performed.
