Abstract:
Disclosed are an apparatus and method for predicting lifespan of a wireless network system, and a cluster head node included in said wireless network system. The disclosed apparatus for predicting the lifespan of a wireless network system is an apparatus for predicting the lifespan of the wireless network system in which multiple nodes are classified into N clusters. The apparatus comprises: a prediction unit for predicting the lifespan (T(nLT)t-1) of the wireless network system in (t-1)th time period (Tt-1) using the lifespans of the multiple nodes in (t-1)th time period (Tt-1); a transmission unit for transmitting the T(nLT)t-1 to the head nodes of the N clusters; and a receiving unit for receiving the lifespan (T(nLT,j)t) of the cluster in tth time period (Tt) calculated in each of the N head nodes using T(nLT)t-1. The transmission unit transmits the minimum T(nLT,j)t and the maximum T(nLT,j)t from among T(nLT,j)t of each of the N clusters to the N head nodes. The receiving unit receives, from the N head nodes, the lifespan of one or more nodes in Tt, and said one or more nodes having the lifespan of the minimum T(nLT,j)t or more and the maximum T(nLT,j)t or less in Tt. The prediction unit calculates the lifespans of the multiple nodes in Tt using the lifespan of said one or more nodes in Tt,and predicts the lifespan (T(nLT)t) in the wireless network system in Tt using the lifespans of the multiple nodes in Tt.
