Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and method for protecting an inductive current. The apparatus comprises: a plurality of first conditioning circuits configured to convert a plurality of winding induced currents of a totem bridgeless power factor correction converter into a plurality of first voltage signals; a single-chip microcomputer configured to respectively compare the received plurality of first voltage signals with a first pre-set threshold, and transmit pulse width modulation (PWM) drive after a comparison result to an AND gate circuit; a second conditioning circuit configured to convert a total induced current of the totem bridgeless power factor correction converter into a second voltage signal; a comparator configured to compare the received second voltage signal with a second pre-set threshold, and transmit a comparison result to the AND gate circuit; and the AND gate circuit configured to perform an AND operation on the comparison results received from the single-chip microcomputer and a majority comparator, and control an inductive current according to an AND operation result.
