Abstract:
A radio terminal (1) updates a preset radio parameter (409, 814) stored in a memory (406, 810) coupled to the radio terminal (1). The preset radio parameter (409, 814) is used by the radio terminal (1) so as to perform at least one of discovery and direct communication without the assist of a public land mobile network (100). This enables, for example, flexible adaptation to a condition under which ProSe communication is performed without the assist of a network.
