Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus and method for suppressing multi-band PIMD in which an antenna, a multi-band input unit and a receiving unit of a base station are connected using a directional coupler. The apparatus and method for suppressing multi-band PIMD according to the present invention reduce the PIM magnitude of a Tx signal using the directivity of the directional coupler to allow the Tx signal to be distinguishable from an Rx signal, and thus enables signals, which have been transmitted and received through multiple conventional transmission lines, to be transmitted through a single transmission line.
