Abstract:
An apparatus for testing the effective electric potential of a soil mass in real time using a soft clay electroosmosis process, comprising electrodes (1, 5). One or more electric potential measuring pieces (2) are uniformly distributed on the outside of the electrodes (1, 5), an insulating inner sleeve (3) is embedded between each electric potential measuring piece (2) and the electrodes (1, 5), and each electric potential measuring piece (2) is connected to an electric potential measuring needle (4). A method for testing the effective electric potential of a soil mass in real time using a soft clay electroosmosis process, comprising the following steps: mounting insulating inner sleeves (3) on the surface of electrodes (1, 5), mounting electric potential measuring pieces (2) on the outer side of the insulating inner sleeve (3), and connecting the electric potential measuring pieces (2) to electric potential measuring needles (4) (S1); and vertically inserting the electrodes (1, 5) of the assembled effective electric potential testing apparatus into a soil mass, connecting the electrodes (1, 5) to a direct-current power supply (12) by means of a wire (13), energizing the electrodes (1, 5) according to design requirements, and performing electroosmosis treatment on a soft clay (7) foundation (S2); Thus, the problem in conventional methods of disturbance to soil from inserting electric potential measuring needles (4) into a soil mass near electrodes (1, 5) is solved, and meanwhile, errors caused by differences in the positions of the electric potential measuring needles (4) are avoided.
