Abstract:
Disclosed is an apparatus for moving a brake pedal. The apparatus for moving a brake pedal according to the present embodiment comprises: a push rod which connects a brake pedal to a piston of a master cylinder so as to move the piston according to a pedal effort on the brake pedal; an actuator for providing driving power; a screw which receives a rotating force from the actuator and performs a translational movement to move the piston; and a rotation prevention unit for preventing the rotation of the screw, wherein the push rod is connected to the piston after passing through the screw and generates a motion of the piston independently from the translational movement of the screw, and the screw is connected to the actuator to receive the rotating force and converts the rotating force into the translational movement by the rotation prevention unit such that the translational movement of the piston, the push rod, and the brake pedal connected to the screw can be generated.
