Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing the spread of fire, the apparatus comprising: a flow channel pipe connected to an air duct provided in the ceiling of an ESS electric room; an exhaust duct body, one end of which is connected to the other end of the flow channel pipe and the other end of which has a larger area than the one end; and a corrugated pipe member which has one end connected to the other end of the exhaust duct body and can be adjusted in length vertically. The apparatus for preventing the spread of fire is provided in a number corresponding to that of the plurality of cases, and the apparatuses are formed above the plurality of cases, respectively. Accordingly, a fire that occurs in a battery module in the ESS electric room can be prevented from spreading to the surroundings and can be quickly extinguished. In addition, by successfully suppressing the fire in an early stage, it is possible to prevent the fire from spreading to the surroundings and causing greater damage.
