Abstract:
Disclosed in the present specification is an apparatus for recycling wood or lignin and a method for producing phenol from wood or lignin using same. The apparatus for recycling wood or lignin, according to one aspect of the present invention, may produce a large amount of phenol by pyrolyzing wood or lignin-containing material using an auger reactor and a fluidized bed reactor. In particular, the apparatus can maximize the efficiency of phenol production by primarily pyrolyzing wood or lignin-containing materials at relatively low temperatures to increase molecular activity in the wood or lignin-containing materials and then secondarily pyrolyzing the same in a high-temperature environment.
