Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for reducing fuel consumption of an internal combustion engine which uses liquid-phase fuels, such as light oil and gasoline. In designing an apparatus for reducing fuel consumption having a limited size and length, an objective of the present invention is to propose a structure capable of directly contacting a fuel and maximizing a contact cross-sectional area, and to provide an apparatus for reducing fuel consumption using a magnetic resonance effect by maximizing the contact cross-sectional area between a permanent magnet and the fuel in such a manner that a flow path of the fuel is configured within a cylindrical case such that the fuel follows the flow path while rotating along a cylindrical pipe, whereby the flow path is extended further. In addition, another objective of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for reducing fuel consumption using a magnetic resonance effect and a vortex effect capable of providing advantageous conditions for further atomizing a fuel by installing a metal plate between permanent magnets of which like poles come in contact to securely fix the permanent magnets, thereby making the flux density (Gauss) uniform and redoubling the flux density to generate a longer resonance frequency band.
