Abstract:
The present invention relates to an apparatus for repurposing livestock waste as a resource and a method therefor. The apparatus for repurposing livestock waste as a resource comprises: a stirring unit for removing impurities precipitated while stirring livestock waste; a solid-liquid separation unit for separating livestock waste supplied from the stirring unit into a livestock waste cellulose component and an organic component with reference to a predetermined solid size through centrifugation; and a mixing molding unit for pellet-molding the livestock waste cellulose component to produce pellet solid fuel containing the livestock waste cellulose component. According to the present invention, ash generation is reduced by removing an organic component from livestock waste, thereby obtaining pellet fuel exhibiting uniform and excellent combustion efficiency.
