Abstract:
An application distribution system (1) comprises: management devices (3) and a distribution server (4). The management device (3) manages equipment apparatuses (2) used by equipment users. The distribution server (4) is connected to the management device (3) over a network. The management device (3) has a standard function to control the operation of the equipment apparatuses (2), and installs an additional application that is a function different from the standard function and executes a process using data of the equipment apparatuses collected by means of the standard function. The distribution server (4) receives the additional application developed by the developer user over the network, and causes the management device (3) to install the received additional application.
