Abstract:
A container having a liquid material (100) poured therein has a hole (21c) formed in the bottom (21b) of the container, which faces a substrate (5), the hole (21c) allowing an application needle (24) to be passed therethrough. A seal member (23) is mounted to the outer surface of the bottom (21b) of the container and has formed therein an opening (23a) in communication with the hole (21c). A drive section causes the tip (24a) of the application needle (24) to protrude from the hole (21c) and the opening (23a), thereby applying the liquid material (100) to the substrate (5). The seal member (23) is formed so that the diameter (d1) of the opening (23a) when the application needle (24) has not been passed through the opening (23a) is smaller than the diameter (d2) of the application needle (24)(d1
