Abstract:
An application method for a "thermal error-temperature" ring of a numerical control machine tool spindle, which relates to the field of thermal error testing of numerical control machine tools. With regard to the current state in which a spindle thermal deformation mechanism analysis method is performed not on the basis of measured thermal error and temperature data, the method comprises: first using a check rod and two displacement sensors to test a spindle radial thermal error, the thermal error comprising a thermal drift error and a thermal tilt error; simultaneously using two temperature sensors to test the temperature of upper and lower surfaces of a spindle box; thereafter, drawing a "thermal error-temperature" ring having a difference between values of the two temperature sensors being the abscissa and the spindle radial thermal error being the ordinate; finally, analyzing the spindle radial thermal deformation mechanism on the basis of the ring to evaluate the thermal error level. The described method provides a method for performing spindle thermal deformation analysis on the basis of the temperature and thermal error data, which may be used to derive thermal deformation mechanisms and laws, and may be used to evaluate and contrast thermal drift and thermal tilt levels. The described method is based on measured data, and the results of the analysis thereof are closer to reality than simulations.
