Abstract:
Provided is a mechanism for assisting with the work that is carried out when the software embedded in a vehicle-onboard apparatus is updated. An approval-related information management system for: storing required apparatus specification in association with a regulation ID that is information for specifying the regulation that prescribes requirements for receiving regulatory approval with regard to a vehicle; acquiring the traceability information of an apparatus associated with the required apparatus specification; specifying the regulation ID that corresponds to the required apparatus specification associated with the acquired traceability information; generating approval management information in which the specified regulation ID and one or more software IDs included in the traceability information are associated; managing vehicle traceability information in which the approval management information and the traceability information are associated; and managing, in association with the approval management information, test information that relates to a test carried out with regard to the software when receiving approval.
