Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous ink composition for an inkjet, the composition having excellent ejection properties during printing due to an inkjet process, and capable of printing a printed image having good scratch resistance and water resistance. An aqueous ink composition for an inkjet according to the present invention comprises at least a colorant, a binder, and an aqueous medium, wherein: the binder includes a polyolefin resin dispersion, and at least one resin selected from the group consisting of a styrene acrylic acid resin, a styrene maleic acid resin, and a polyurethane resin; the content of the polyolefin resin dispersion is, with respect to the total mass of the aqueous ink composition for an inkjet, at least 1.2 mass% in terms of solid content; and the content of the binder excluding the polyolefin resin dispersion is, with respect to the total mass of the aqueous ink composition for an inkjet, at most 0.75 mass% in terms of solid content.
