Abstract:
Provided are: an aqueous ink composition for ink jet recording that contains an aqueous medium and at least two types of resin microparticles, resin microparticles A and B; and an image formation method. The polymer that forms resin microparticles A contains 1 to 20 mass% of a structural unit represented by a specific formula. The absolute value of the difference between the glass transition temperatures of resin microparticles A and B is 30 to 100°C.
