Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous ink composition having high preservation stability and providing high solvent resistance to a recorded matter obtained, even when the aqueous ink composition contains a polymer fine particle dispersoid as a binder resin. This aqueous ink composition contains water and a resin, wherein at least part of the resin is contained as a polymer fine particle dispersoid, the resin contains an acrylic resin, and the acrylic resin contains a copolymer that includes monomer A and monomer B below as structural units. Monomer A: an acrylic monomer with a side chain part SP value of 8.5-13.0, wherein the SP value is calculated for the chemical structure moiety defined by R2 in expression (1) below: CH2=C(R1)-R2 ∙∙∙ espression (1) (R1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group) Monomer B: a monomer other than monomer A and having an acidic group or a basic group
