Title:
AQUEOUS PIGMENT DISPERSION LIQUID, AQUEOUS INK-JET INK, AND DRY COATING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/185578
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is an aqueous pigment dispersion liquid from which it is possible to prepare an environmentally friendly aqueous ink-jet ink in which a pigment is stably and highly dispersed finely and which can record an image that has excellent durability, glossiness, color developing ability, and adhesion with respect to various printing base materials. The aqueous pigment dispersion liquid contains a pigment, water, a water soluble organic solvent, and a polymer dispersant for dispersing the pigment. The polymer dispersant is a polymer that includes a structural unit (i) derived from (meth)acrylic acid and/or itaconic acid and a structural unit (ii) derived from a biological material-derived (meth)acrylate such as ethyl (meth)acrylate, that has an acid value of 30-250 mgKOH/g, and in which the contained amount of the structural unit (ii) is 50 mass% or more, the number average molecular weight is 1,000-30,000, the molecular weight distribution (weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight) is 2.5 or less, and at least a portion of carboxy groups is neutralized by an alkali.
