Abstract:
[1] An aqueous pigment dispersion in which a pigment has been dispersed in an aqueous medium by means of a polymer dispersing agent. The polymer dispersing agent contains a (meth)acrylic resin (A) and a resin (B). Resin (B) is at least one type of resin selected from the group that consists of polyester resins (B1), acid-modified polyolefin resins (B2), and vinyl chloride resins (B3). [2] A production method for an aqueous pigment dispersion, the production method having a step 1 and a step 2. Step 1: a step in which a dispersion is obtained by performing a dispersion treatment on a pigment mixture that includes a pigment, an acid-group-containing (meth)acrylic resin (A), and a resin (B) that is at least one type of resin selected from the group that consists of polyester resins (B1), acid-modified polyolefin resins (B2), and vinyl chloride resins (B3). Step 2: a step in which the dispersion obtained in step 1 is crosslinked using a crosslinking agent (C).
