Abstract:
Disclosed are an AR device and a method for controlling same. A method for controlling an AR device according to one embodiment of the present invention involves calculating the distance between an AR device and an image capturing means connected with the AR device by wired/wireless communication, receiving the angle of the image capturing means, and calculating the angle of the AR device. Information related to the distance to a real object image-captured by the image capturing means is determined, and the augmented position of a virtual object corresponding to the real object is calculated to display the virtual object at the augmented position through a display means. An AR device of the present invention may be connected to an artificial intelligence module, a robot, a virtual reality (VR) device, a device related to a 5G service, etc.
