Abstract:
Proposed in the present invention is an arc detection apparatus having a multi-frequency band identification function, which divides an arc frequency band using a plurality of band-pass filters and detects the occurrence of an arc for each divided frequency band, and thus excludes switching noise or power supply noise that mostly occurs only in a certain frequency band, thereby improving the accuracy of arc detection, and which minimizes the use of expensive analog-to-digital converters and increases the accuracy of arc detection by detecting overlapping areas. To this end, the present invention is connected to a line, and has a multi-frequency band identification function for applying a low-pass filter, at least one band-pass filter, and a high-pass filter to a frequency band in which an arc is expected to occur, to divide the frequency band into a plurality of bands to be detected and to detect the arc.
