Abstract:
The disclosed armature has separate-layer join sections (30) outside an armature core (2) in an axial direction (L). Each separate-layer join section (30) comprises a join between a one-layer join extension section (23a) and an other-layer join extension section (23b), which are join extension sections (23) that extend from conductor side sections (22) disposed in different slots (3) so as to form adjacent layers. At least one of the pair of join extension sections (23a and 23b) joined in each separate-layer join section (30) is provided with an offset bend section which produces an offset, in a radial direction (R), towards the other join extension section (23) of the pair. Each one-layer join extension section (23a) and other-layer join extension section (23b) are joined with the join surfaces thereof facing each other in the circumferential direction.
