Abstract:
A polymeric hose having an increased resistance to kinking has a soft inner layer and a harder outer layer joined thereto. The outer layer comprises at least one helical groove (2) that encircles the hose about the longitudinal axis. A device (19) for producing the hose has cutting and or machining means for making the grooves (2) in the outer layer. The means (25) are placed downstream from an extruder (20) for extruding the hose while surrounding the latter. This results in the production of an inexpensively produced hose with a good resistance to kinking while having a good flexibility.
