Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a novel compound which suppresses volatilization of a curing agent during a curing reaction, thereby enabling the achievement of a curing agent that has excellent characteristics such as heat resistance. The present invention provides, as a solution, an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid compound which is represented by formula (I). (In the formula, each R independently represents an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms or an alkoxy group having 1-4 carbon atoms; and each n independently represents 0 or an integer of 1-4.)
