Title:
ARRAY-FED REFLECTOR ANTENNA DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/073222
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A beam direction control device (9) is equipped with: a relative position determination unit (91), which determines the relative positions of a reflector antenna (1) and an array antenna (3) by controlling a driving means (a drive device (7), a drive control device (8)) such that the range wherein parallel light beams (101) from a prescribed beam direction are reflected by the reflector antenna (1) and projected to the array antenna (3) matches the range wherein element antennas (2) are arranged; an excitation element selection unit (92), which selects, as the element antenna (2) to be excited, an element antenna (2a) to which the parallel light beams are projected due to the determined relative positions of the reflector antenna (1) and the array antenna (3); an excitation amplitude/phase determination unit (93), which sets the excitation amplitude and phase for the selected element antenna (2) in an excitation amplitude/phase control means (amplitude controllers (4), phase shifters (5), and an excitation amplitude/phase control device (6)); and a transceiver connection unit (94), which connects the selected element antenna (2) to a transceiver.
