Abstract:
An array substrate and a display device, relating to the technical field of display. The array substrate comprises gate lines (41, 42) and data lines (21, 22) formed on a substrate, and pixel units (32) defined by adjacent gate lines (41, 42) and adjacent data lines (21, 22). Each of the gate lines (41, 42) is gradually widen from a driving start end to a driving terminal end. In the array substrate, the width (d2) of each gate line at the driving start end is less than the width (d1) thereof at the driving terminal end. As a result, the impedance at the driving start end is greater than the impedance at the driving terminal end, and the voltage difference between the driving start end and the driving terminal end caused by large RC delay of the driving terminal end is reduced, thereby resolving the problems of non-uniform display brightness of pixel units in a liquid crystal display device and poor display effect of the liquid crystal display device caused by the voltage at the driving start end being higher than the voltage at the driving terminal end. The use of gate lines each having a non-uniform width improves the uniformity of display brightness of the pixel units in the liquid crystal display device, improves the quality and yield of the liquid crystal display device, and improves the display effect of the liquid crystal display device.
