Abstract:
An array substrate (12) and a liquid crystal display panel (1) thereof. The array substrate (12) comprises a substrate (120), the substrate (120) is provided with a plurality of pixel regions (120a) arranged in an array, and each pixel region (120a) comprises a first electrode (121), a second electrode (122), an insulation protrusion (125), and a reflecting electrode (126), wherein the second electrode (122) and the first electrode (121) are suitable for forming an electric field therebetween, and the reflecting electrode (126) and the second electrode (122) are also suitable for forming an electric field therebetween; the second electrode (122) comprises a slit electrode (123); the slit electrode (123) comprises slit portions (123a) and electrode portions (123b) located between the adjacent slit portions (123a); each electrode portion (123b) at least comprises a first strip-shaped portion (124a) and a second strip-shaped portion (124b); the extension direction of the first strip-shaped portion (124a) intersects the extension direction of the second strip-shaped portion (124b), and the first strip-shaped portion (124a) and the second strip-shaped portion (124b) of each electrode portion (123b) are connected at a bending portion (124c); and on the orthographic projection of a plane where the substrate (120) is located, the bending portion (124c) of the second electrode (122) is located in the insulation protrusion (125), and the reflecting electrode (126) is located in the insulation protrusion (125), so that when the liquid crystal display panel (1) displays an image of which the gray scale is not 0, liquid crystal molecules in the entire thickness of a liquid crystal layer (13) are induced for double refraction, and the transmittance of the liquid crystal display panel (1) can be improved by effectively utilizing ambient light.
