Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an adsorbent material that efficiently and inexpensively removes arsenic from arsenic-containing water, the arsenic-containing water being any form of arsenic-containing water such as beverage-use groundwater, industrial drainage, mine effluent, and hot-spring water. The present invention pertains to an arsenic-adsorbent cellulose material in which a metal component having arsenic-adsorbing properties is supported on cellulose-based microfibers.
