Abstract:

An article having a substrate and, applied on the surface thereof, a coating film having fine concaves and convexes, characterized in that the fine concaves and convexes comprise portions formed through nonuniform deposition of fine particles. The coating film preferably comprises a silicon oxide as its main component and can combine the presence of fine concaves and convexes and high transparency.
