Abstract:
This article management device allocates article supply media for supplying articles to a plurality of carts that supply articles to a substrate work machine for producing a substrate product by performing predetermined substrate work on a substrate, the substrate work machine requiring the articles for the production of the substrate product. The article management device is provided with a section setting unit and an allocating unit. The section setting unit divides a plurality of unit productions included in a production plan, in which the order of unit productions designating production of the same kind of substrate product using the substrate work machine is defined, into production groups each comprising a set of at least one unit production that uses the articles supplied to the substrate work machine by article supply media carried on one cart at once. The allocating unit, when the same type of articles supplied from the same cart is used in different production groups, allocates the article supply media to the carts so that the articles are supplied by the same article supply medium.
