Abstract:
A product management system 1 for managing products using wireless tags comprises: a reading device 200 that performs a reading operation to read product identification information by wireless communication from a wireless tag 300 attached to each of one or more products P; and a reference wireless tag 400 that is installed on the opposite side from the reading device 200 so as to sandwich one or more products P therebetween. The reading device 200 performs a power adjustment operation to adjust the transmission power of the radio wave from the reading device 200 on the basis of the radio wave received from the reference wireless tag 400.
