Abstract:
A control device according to the present invention executes a selection process for determining a selected conveyor to which an object article is to be brought over. The selection process is a process in which a second conveyor where an article situated at the furthest upstream thereof is of the same article type as that of an object article while there exists no adjacent article group that is of the same article type, and a second conveyor where an article situated at the furthest upstream thereof is of the same article type as that of the object article while there are an even number of articles that constitute an adjacent article group belonging to the same article type, are defined as pairing object conveyors. In the case when there is a pairing object conveyor, said pairing object conveyor is determined as a selected conveyor, whereas in the case when there is no pairing object conveyor, a second conveyor selected in accordance with predetermined basic selection rules is determined as a selected conveyor.
