Abstract:
Provided is an article transport facility capable of stably running transport trucks while preventing damage to a transport truck when the connection to an adjacent, separate transport truck is broken. Each of a plurality of transport trucks that form a truck line comprises a truck body (6), wheels (8) that roll on running faces (26a) formed along a running route, a first connecting section (10) provided on the front end of the truck body (6), a second connecting section (11) provided on the rear end of the truck body (6). The first connecting section (10) is connected, so as to be pivotable around a truck pivoting axis (P1) along the vertical direction, with the second connecting section (11) of a different transport truck that is adjacent and in front, the wheels (8) are provided in the front end of the truck body (6), and the wheels (8) and the truck pivoting axis (P1) of the first connecting section (10) overlap as seen from the width direction of the truck.
