Abstract:
An artificial tooth articulator of the present invention comprises: a pair of upper and lower table means that are detachably coupled to the central shafts of horizontally adjustable support stands in the centers of base and top plates and are adjusted to horizontally move forward, rearward, leftward, and rightward; and a pair of upper and lower tray jig means that are detachably coupled to the inner surfaces of the pair of upper and lower table means by magnetic forces, respectively, and support upper and lower trays, the intermaxillary relationship of which is adjusted in a patient's oral cavity, by means of press-fitting such that the upper and lower trays face each other. Accordingly, it is possible to accurately reproduce the intermaxillary (jaw interval) relationship of an individual patient in the articulator by a simple operation. In addition, the upper and lower trays for manufacturing dentures, the casts (impressions) of which are taken from a patient, can be simply attached to the predetermined positions by magnetic forces, thereby accurately and rapidly performing the horizontal and vertical adjustment of the intermaxillary relationship.
