Abstract:
An arylsulfonamide derivative represented by general formula (I), which has a thromboxane A2 antagonism, or a salt thereof, a process for producing the same, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same, wherein R1 represents unsubstituted phenyl, naphthyl or thienyl, or phenyl or thienyl each substituted by 1 to 3 substituents which may be the same or different from one another and are selected from the group consisting of halogen, alkyl, nitro and alkoxy; R2 represents C1-C15 alkyl having a straight or branched chain or being branched to form a ring, phenyl, optionally halogenated phenyloxy, C5-C7 cycloalkyl, indolyl, C1-C4 alkylthio, optionally protected hydroxy, imidazolyl, pyridyloxy, or -OSO2R4; R4 represents C1-C15 linear or branched alkyl, unsubstituted phenyl or thienyl, or phenyl or thienyl each substituted by 1 to 3 substituents which may be the same or different from one another and are selected from the group consisting of halogen, alkyl, nitro and alkoxy; R3 represents hydrogen or C1-C20 linear or branched alkyl; n is an integer of 0 to 10; p is an integer of 0 to 10; X represents -(CH2)m-A-(CH2)q-; m and q represent each independently an integer of 0 to 8; and A represents a direct bond or phenylene.
