Abstract:
Proposed is a model kit consisting of highly extensible parts enabling one to assemble a model toy casually and to his or her own liking. An assembly model toy comprises frame parts 1, 2 having polygonal fitting holes 1a, 2a, and a joint part 10 which is provided with polygonal rectangular column portions 11, 12 corresponding to the fitting holes, and which is used by fitting the rectangular column portions into the fitting holes. The fitting holes and the rectangular column portions have corresponding polygonal shapes. Accordingly, when the rectangular column portions are fitted into the fitting holes, it is possible to perform fitting angle adjustment of the rectangular column portions with respect to the fitting holes on the basis of an angular difference determined by the polygon. After the rectangular column portions are fitted into the fitting holes, mutual rotation of the rectangular column portions and the fitting holes is prevented. The joint part is assembled to the frame parts by such fitting between the fitting holes and the rectangular column portions, and another part can be assembled to the joint part assembled to the frame parts.
