Title:
ASSEMBLY STRUCTURE THAT FACILITATES COUPLING OF EYEGLASS FRAME AND TEMPLES
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/092291
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an assembly structure for an eyeglass body and temples, and more particularly, to an assembly structure for an eyeglass frame and temples including: an eyeglass frame configured with protruding portions in which lenses are inserted, wherein the protruding portions protrude on both sides of said frame and have coupling grooves formed therein; temples having a space part in which a protrusion part of the eyeglass frame is inserted and a coupling groove connected to the space part and respectively disposed on the upper and lower side surfaces thereof; and a connection member connecting the insertion groove to each of the coupling grooves. Washers (30) are respectively inserted in the upper and lower parts of the insertion grooves (12) of the eyeglass frame (10), and the connection member (40) is formed in the longitudinal direction and is constituted by pipe-shaped nuts (42) in which screw threads are formed in the inner periphery thereof and bolts (41) are coupled to the inner periphery of said nuts (42), thereby stably, firmly, and rotatably coupling the connection member to the eyeglass frame (10) without applying a rotation force to the eyeglass frame (10) when the connection member (40) successively passes through the coupling groove (22), the washer (30), and the insertion groove (12) for coupling to the eyeglass frame (10). Thus, the assembly structure may prevent the temples (20) from being separated from the eyeglass frame (10) during use. Also, the assembly structure may prevent the coupled parts from being damaged, and thus the assembly structure has excellent durability. Accordingly, the assembly structure is useful because products having the temples (20) do not generate noise when said temples move, easily adjust in strength so as to have uniform operability, and may be mass produced, and the eyeglass frame (10) does not directly contact the temples (20) so as to maintain the shape thereof when heat is applied thereto.
