Abstract:
An assistance system 1 assists the maintenance of the health of an individual user and the realization of a decarbonized society, by mediating an exchange contract between benefits provided by a client and decarbonization points based on a decarbonization amount which is the amount of carbon dioxide emissions reduced by the user by refraining from using an automobile and a motorcycle. This assistance system 1 comprises a user terminal 2 functioning as: a moving distance/speed calculation unit 24 for calculating a moving distance of the user as well as a moving speed of the user; a moving means determination unit 25 for determining, on the basis of the moving speed, whether a moving means of the user is one of walking and bicycling; and a decarbonization amount calculation unit 26 for calculating the decarbonization amount on the basis of the moving distance, if the moving means of the user is one of walking and bicycling and the moving distance is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value.
