Embodiments of the present application discloses an associative word displaying method, a terminal device, and a computer storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring search words input in a search bar; determining associative words corresponding to the search words; determining an application corresponding to the associative words; displaying the associative words and an identifier corresponding to the associative words, the identifier being used for opening the application corresponding to the corresponding associative words. The associative word displaying method provided by the present application can enhance a user's interaction with other applications on a terminal device when searching by means of a search engine of the terminal device, thereby enabling the user to obtain a richer and more specialized experience.
