Abstract:
The present invention relates to an attachable exercise amount measuring and information providing apparatus for machine exercise and, more specifically, to an apparatus for measuring the exercise amount and providing result information during the machine exercise, in which a weight formed by stacking a plurality of unit plates is provided and one or more selected unit plates are moved up/down to perform exercise, the apparatus comprising: a first measurement unit which measures the exercise weight of one or more unit plates selected to perform the machine exercise; a second measurement unit which measures the moving-up/down distance, moving-up/down time, and the velocity of the one or more selected unit plates according to the machine exercise; and an exercise amount calculating and providing unit which receives data measured respectively by the first measurement unit and the second measurement unit, calculates and records exercise amount information including the exercise weight, the number of exercises, and sets of exercises of a user with respect to the machine exercise, and provides the calculated exercise amount information.
