Title:
AUDIO PROCESSING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/217605
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An audio processing device (10) according to the invention is provided with: a pre-processing unit (30) that derives an audio-band signal from a first electric signal supplied from a first microphone (20) and outputs a first output signal; a first control unit (50) that multiplies the first output signal, thereby generating a first amplification factor for compressing a dynamic range of intensity of the first output signal and that smooths the first amplification factor by a first time constant, thereby generating a first corrected amplification factor; and a first multiplying unit (44) that multiplies the first corrected amplification factor and the first output signal together, wherein the first time constant is a first rise time constant in a case where the intensity of the first output signal increases and is a first fall time constant in a case where the intensity of the first output signal decreases, and wherein the first rise time constant is equal to or greater than a time resolution of the auditory sense of hearing-impaired people and is less than a time duration of audio in which hearing-impaired people is induced to a phenomenon of recruitment.
