Abstract:
Disclosed is an augmented reality-based virtual object allocation method, applied to an augmented reality client side, comprising: performing image scanning on a target user, and initiating facial recognition for the scanned image; acquiring an electronic credential issued from an augmented reality server side when facial features are recognized from the scanned image, and locally storing the acquired electronic credential, wherein the electronic credential is used for extracting a virtual object; determining whether a category number of the locally stored electronic credential reaches a preset threshold; if the category number of the locally stored electronic credential reaches the preset threshold, then sending a virtual object allocation request to the augmented reality server side, wherein the virtual object allocation request carries therein the electronic credential which has a category number that is at the preset threshold, such that the augmented reality server side allocates a virtual object from a preset virtual object set on the basis of the virtual object allocation request.
