Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a sensor network, Machine Type Communication (MTC), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication, and technology for Internet of Things (IoT). The present disclosure may be applied to intelligent services based on the above technologies, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services. A wearable device includes a display, a transceiver, and a processor. The processor is configured to detect, via the transceiver, a device controllable by the wearable device. The processor is also configured to generate a user interface (UI) associated with the device for display on the display based on the detected device. The processor detects an input based on the UI and transmits, via the transceiver, a signal to the device to control the device based on the detected input.
