Abstract:
Provided is a method by which an augmented reality device including a depth sensor acquires a depth map. The method may comprise the steps of: sensing the motion of an augmented reality device worn by a user; identifying an activity of the user on the basis of the motion sensed by the augmented reality device; determining, on the basis of the identified activity, an optical pattern of emission light to be emitted from a depth sensor; controlling the depth sensor so that the emission light is emitted in the determined optical pattern; receiving reflection light of the emission light reflected by at least one object; and acquiring a depth map on the basis of the emission light and the received reflection light.
