Abstract:
A method in which an augmented reality device including a vision correction lens detects the gaze of a user is provided. The method may comprise the steps of: acquiring lens characteristic information about a vision correction lens disposed to overlap on a light guide plate in the direction of the gaze of a user; emitting gaze tracking light toward a light reflection unit through a light emission unit, the emitted light being reflected by means of the light reflection unit and directed toward the eyes of the user; receiving, through a light reception unit, the light reflected by the eyes of the user; acquiring an image of the eyes of the user on the basis of the received light; compensating for the image of the eyes of the user on the basis of the lens characteristic information about the vision correction lens; and acquiring gaze information on the basis of the compensated for eye image.
