Abstract:
An augmented reality device is disclosed. The disclosed augmented reality device may include: a display part which outputs first polarized light; a polarized light conversion reflection part which is provided to face an emission side of the display part, and converts the first polarized light to second polarized light orthogonal to the first polarized light; a waveguide, which has a shape of a flat plate and one side of which is provided between the display part and the polarized light conversion reflection part, wherein a normal line to the flat plate having the flat shape is inclined with respect to an optical axis of light output from the display part; an input-coupler for inputting the second polarized light into the waveguide; and an output-coupler for outputting light propagated from the waveguide.
