Abstract:
An augmented reality display device is disclosed. The disclosed augmented reality display device comprises: a display engine for projecting light containing an image; a waveguide having the light projected from the display engine incident thereon and transferring same; and a body having the display engine and the wave guide installed therein. The display engine comprises a light source unit, a reflective display panel and a projection optical system. The projection optical system comprises: an aperture; and a first projection lens group disposed between the aperture and the reflective display panel. The light source unit comprises a light source or light-emitting end positioned near the aperture, wherein the light source or light-emitting end is disposed in a position that is away from the optical axis of the projection optical system so that the range of angles of incidence of light incident on the display panel does not overlap with the range of angles of reflection of light reflected from the display panel. The aperture comprises an effective opening through which light reflected from the reflective display panel passes.
