Abstract:
Embodiments of the present application provide an authentication method. The method comprises: a wireless access network device receives authentication request information from a repeater device, the authentication request information comprising identity information of the repeater device; the wireless access network device sends an authentication response, the authentication response comprising an authentication result for the repeater device. The technical solution of the present application can realize bidirectional authentication between a repeater device and a network, and ensures that the repeater device required to be authenticated by the network is legitimate, and the network required to be authenticated and accessed by the repeater device is also legitimate.
